Service Terms and Conditions
1. Service Agreement
These terms constitute a binding agreement between you ("Client") and ShineOrbit Professional Cleaning ("Company", "we", "us") for professional cleaning services. By scheduling a cleaning service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Services are provided exclusively within Metro Manila, Philippines. We maintain proper business licenses and insurance coverage for all cleaning operations. Our team consists of trained professionals who follow strict quality standards and use environmentally friendly cleaning products.
2. Service Types and Pricing
We offer three primary cleaning service categories with transparent pricing structures:
- Residential Cleaning: Standard cleaning starting at ₱30 per square meter, includes basic home cleaning, dust removal, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Commercial Cleaning: Office and business spaces priced at ₱50 per square meter, includes workspace cleaning, restroom maintenance, and commercial-grade sanitization.
- Specialized Cleaning: Deep cleaning, post-construction cleanup, and specialized services starting at ₱80 per square meter, including carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and disinfection services.
Add-on services include window cleaning (+₱500), carpet cleaning (+₱800), and full disinfection (+₱300). Pricing is calculated based on property size, frequency, and additional services requested. All prices are quoted in Philippine Peso (₱) and may be subject to applicable taxes.
3. Booking and Scheduling
Bookings can be made through our website, phone (+63 2 8835 7600), or email ([email protected]). We operate Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Sunday designated as our rest day except for emergency services.
Standard service scheduling allows for same-day booking in core areas (Makati, Quezon City, Manila), 24-48 hour advance booking for suburban areas, and 2-3 day advance booking for extended service areas. Emergency cleaning services are available 24/7 across all service areas with premium pricing.
We require a minimum 24-hour notice for booking changes or cancellations. Same-day modifications may be subject to additional fees based on our team's availability and scheduling constraints.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon service completion unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit cards, bank transfers, and selected digital payment methods. All invoices must be settled within 7 days of service date.
For recurring service contracts, monthly invoicing is available with 15-day payment terms. Deposits of 50% may be required for specialized services, deep cleaning, or bookings scheduled more than 7 days in advance.
Returned payment fees of ₱500 will be charged for bounced checks or failed transactions. Overdue accounts may be subject to 2% monthly service charges and may result in service suspension until payment is received.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before scheduled service receive full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 25% cancellation fee to cover scheduling and preparation costs.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full service amount. Clients who need to reschedule due to emergencies should contact us immediately, and we will make every effort to accommodate changes without penalty when possible.
Refund requests for unsatisfactory service must be submitted within 48 hours of service completion with photographic evidence. We offer re-cleaning services at no additional charge for legitimate quality concerns reported within this timeframe.
6. Quality Assurance and Satisfaction
We guarantee professional cleaning standards using trained staff and quality cleaning products. Each cleaning includes a final quality check before our team departs your premises. Client satisfaction is our top priority.
If you're not completely satisfied with any cleaning service, contact us within 24 hours and we will re-clean the affected areas at no charge. Our customer service team is available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM to address any concerns.
We maintain liability insurance and conduct background checks on all employees. In the rare event of property damage, we will work with you and our insurance provider to resolve claims fairly and promptly.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for securing valuable items, fragile objects, and confidential documents before our cleaning team arrives. While our staff is trained to handle household and office items carefully, we cannot be held liable for items not properly secured or stored.
Please ensure clear access to all areas requiring cleaning and inform our team of any specific requirements, allergies, or areas that should be avoided. Electrical outlets must be accessible for vacuum equipment and other cleaning tools.
Clients should be present or designate an authorized representative to provide access to the property and conduct final inspection after cleaning. This ensures transparency and allows for immediate resolution of any concerns.
8. Liability and Insurance Coverage
ShineOrbit Professional Cleaning carries comprehensive general liability insurance up to ₱1,000,000 per occurrence and ₱2,000,000 in aggregate coverage. This insurance protects against property damage and personal injury claims that may arise during cleaning operations.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided. We are not responsible for damage to items that are improperly stored, damaged prior to our service, or damaged due to normal wear and tear. Carpet and upholstery stain removal is attempted on a best-effort basis only.
For valuable items, artwork, electronics, or sensitive equipment, clients should remove or properly protect these items before our service. We strongly recommend maintaining your own insurance coverage for high-value items in your home or office.
9. Health and Safety Protocols
Our cleaning team follows strict health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, proper ventilation during cleaning, and adherence to COVID-19 safety guidelines when applicable. We use EPA-approved disinfectants and follow manufacturer guidelines for all cleaning products.
Clients must inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or specific safety concerns before our service begins. This includes informing us of sick individuals in the household or office, which may require special disinfection protocols.
Our staff is trained to handle cleaning chemicals safely and will immediately report any injuries or safety concerns. We maintain first aid supplies and have established emergency procedures for all cleaning locations.
10. Environmental Responsibility
We are committed to environmentally responsible cleaning practices and use biodegradable, low-toxicity cleaning products whenever possible. Our products are selected to be safe for children, pets, and individuals with sensitivities.
We minimize water waste, properly dispose of cleaning waste according to local regulations, and encourage recycling of containers and packaging materials. Green cleaning options are available upon request for an additional fee.
Clients who prefer eco-friendly cleaning products should inform us during booking so we can ensure the appropriate products are used during your service.
Legal Provisions and Disclaimers
11. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall ShineOrbit Professional Cleaning be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to our cleaning services.
Our total liability for any claims related to cleaning services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which the claim is based.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms or our cleaning services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce such provision in the future.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ShineOrbit Professional Cleaning or its content suppliers and is protected by Philippine and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of our materials is prohibited.
Our cleaning methods, processes, and service techniques are proprietary information. Clients agree not to copy, distribute, or use our methods for commercial purposes without written consent.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012. Information collected includes contact details, service preferences, and payment information necessary for service delivery.
Personal data is stored securely and used only for service-related communications, billing, and quality improvement purposes. We do not sell or share customer information with third parties except as required by law or with explicit consent.
Clients have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal information by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond to such requests within 30 days as required by law.
15. Website Usage and Online Services
Our website and online booking system are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
Users agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website functionality. We reserve the right to restrict access to users who violate these terms.
16. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to existing clients through email or website notifications. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
